About Chinese Elm Trees: Chinese Elm is native to northern China, Japan, and Korea. The Chinese or Lacebark elm generally has a broad, vase-like shape with pendulous branches and can be considered dense. The bark is usually smooth often with a mottled, flaking combination of gray, green, brown, and orange.
